The New Year blows in snow, ice, cold, and more snow. I may not be a big fan of scraping ice off my windshield before 6:00 in the morning (then again who is?) but there is something to be said for snow days. In spite of the below freezing temperatures I personally was definitely able to make the most of winter - specifically by getting an entire week off work and spending it with my family, my cat, my blankie, my pajamas, and Jack Bauer in a 5 day tv marathon in front of the fire. It was the week of hibernation I had hoped for, and honestly I think the forced extra rest did us all some good.

I may have a problem. With buying books. Maybe I'll buy more books to make myself feel better about my problem. |
Oooh, winter. I miss it so much, and flipping calendar pages into September is so exciting, because the snow is almost here again!
ReplyDeleteI may~ sympathize with your book problem. Also, that overhead picture of Sammy playing with his barnyard is a/dor/able.
